From Albuquerque, New Mexico, Robert came to New Beginning Recovery in 2019 to seek treatment and New Beginning Recovery has been committed to recovery since. Thereafter, Robert has had experience fostering recovery within the New Life and AA community in many different capacities. He strives to utilize this experience to create an environment conducive to long term success and sobriety. Robert is not only a group facilitator, but also a life coach and sponsor for many within the recovery community at large, whilst also pursuing his degree in International Studies and Japanese Language at CSU Long Beach.

We believe that for your loved one to successfully recover, the process should be a partnership. Our family program structure is built to provide support, guidance, and education every step of the way. We also involve community healing by connecting families within the home to create a network of support and accountability. He has worked in nearly all roles of residential treatment including primary counselor, case manager, admissions director, business development, clinical director and executive director. Irina Jodzio is the Parent Intensive and Family Group Facilitator at New Beginning Recovery.

Founded in San Pedro by Perry Petacia, New Beginning Recovery was formed to directly serve young men in recovery. An alcoholic himself, Perry had been through a recovery center that emphasized identifying and modifying self-sabotaging behavior. Our educational program is designed to help young men further their education, earn their next achievements and degrees, and learn fundamental life and relationship skills. When I got to New Beginning Recovery Jada saw something in me that I couldn’t yet see in myself. She knew I was ready to recover, I just wasn’t sure what that looked like yet. Jada and New Beginning Recovery of Hope has given me things I never knew that I needed.
He has seen firsthand the work that occurs there and the benefits for these young men in perpetuating their progress in recovery. Lance has been participating with New Life for 2 years, and says that some of his best memories have been from his involvement at the houses. He is from Las Vegas and enjoys having fun in sobriety, spending time with his community, and staying active. He says that going through New Life taught him to adopt responsibility and value his relationships, and he wishes to help others with doing the same.
After graduating from New Life recovery house in 2022, he embarked on a mission to pay it forward. As a dedicated sponsor, he extends his hand to guide others through their own recovery journeys, nurturing a sense of belonging within the community. His tenure at Clear Behavioral Health deepened his understanding of the complexities within the community, equipping him with invaluable insights to facilitate recovery for the young men who cross his path. Cameron continues to foster hope and empowerment in every individual who enters those doors.
